The residents of the area said, since a long time, they have been complaining about this huge pothole. But no action was taken yet. Today they saw mud being brought in a lorry from elsewhere and being dumped into the pothole claiming to repair the pothole. This emergency repair work was done by Mangaluru municipal corporation (MCC), said the residents.

As the residents were tired of complaining to the concerned and with no other way left, the frustrated resident’s staged this protest. The police warned the protesters and stopped the protest.
