Mangalore,June 30: Yuvakirnam, an interaction with young Konkani writers was organized by Konkani writers association (Regd.) in association with Konkani weekly Rakno at Bishops house here on June 30, Sunday.

Fr. Francis Rodrigues, chief editor of Rakno weekly and chief guest of the program said that young writers have come out of the traditional shell and are bringing up their thoughts in a new manner which is a good sign for literature.

Young writers Antony Barkur, Wilma Bantwal, Venkatesh Nayak participated in the interaction. Renowned konkani writer Basti Vaman Shenoy was present at the occasion.

President of Konkani writers association H M Pernal welcomed the gathering. Tony Ferros mastered the programme.
