Mangaluru, September 10: In protest against the controversial Yettinahole Project, All-College Students’ Association has given a district wide college bundh call on September 19th.
State legal advisor of the association Dinakar Shetty addressed a press meet in the city on Thursday September 10th, and said, on September 19th bundh will be observed by the All-College Students’ Association urging to drop the Yettinahole project. A rally will be taken from Ambedkar circle to DC’s office where the protest meet will be held. 95 colleges of Dakshina Kannada will join the protest, he informed.
Dinakar Shetty also said, the students’ association will support the national highway bandh called by Netravati Nadi Ulisi Horata Samiti on September 15th and will participate in the protest. We will also support Netravati Samrakshana Samiti.
He has urged all the people to support this protest.
On this occasion, Rohini, president of All-College Students’ Association, Prabith Kumar, Samarth Rai, and others were present.
