Udupi, September 7: Underworld Don Bannanje Raja was produced in Udupi court and he was remanded to one day judicial custody. Bannanje Raja has been sent to Hiriyadka Jail in Udupi.
Bannanje Raja was handed over to fifteen days police custody in connection to shoot out case at Jewellery shop in Irodi. As the term of custody had elapsed, Bannanje Raja was produced before the chief justice in Udupi and the court has imposed him judicial custody for a day.
The police sources said, body warrant of Bannanje Raja will be obtained on Tuesday and he will be requested for police custody in connection to the case of threatening Anand Shetty from Kalyanpura in Udupi and placing demand for hafta. Bannanje Raja will be produced in court tomorrow.
Bannanje Raja was brought from Morocco to India on August 14th this year and the police had taken him into custody for inquiry in various cases.
