Mangaluru, September 3: Thieves broke into a temple in Innoli under Konaje police station limits and fled with valuables worth lakhs of rupees on Tuesday, September 2nd.
The thieves broke the door of the temple, stole the silver Idol of deity and also the CC camera recording unit, stated the complaint. On Wednesday morning when the temple priest arrived to the temple to perform regular pooja, this theft came to light.
The value of stolen items is estimated at Rs 1.5 lakhs.
Konaje police have registered a case.
