Mangaluru, August 18: Costalwood is ready to release “Ice-cream” movie with a new touch. The audio of the movie will be released on August 22nd in Mangaluru and the movie is expected to be released in September, informed the the movie director Preetam Sagar.
Addressing a press meet in the city on Sunday, August 16th, he said in this movie the horror, action, love, and comedy are all blended well. The movie hero challenges his friends, ventures into a new adventure and what happens later is the suspense of the story. Cinema journalist Venugopal Shetty and Preetam Sagar from Mangaluru have directed the movie for the first time.
In the entire cinema, Ice-cream-the popular frozen dessert of coastal area has also played a significant role. Hence the movie title is chosen as “Ice-cream”. Telgu movie “Ice-Cream” directed by Ramgopal Verma does not have any link with this Tulu movie. The movie story, lyrics are by Preetam Sagar.
Mangaluru’s lovely boy (RJ) Roopesh Shetty is the hero. Heroin is Anwita Rao, who had participated in the “Pyate Hudgir Halli Life” show of the Suvarna Channel.
This is the first movie of Anvita in Tulu language. She has already acted for two Kannada films. She has played her key role in “Simpallag Innondu Love Story” film which is already completed. Another film in which Anvita has acted is “Shiradi Ghat”. The shooting of this movie is already in completion stage and these two films are ready to be released soon.
Dinesh Attavara has acted in a special role. Tulu theatre artists as well as actors Chetan Rai Mani, Rohini Jagaram and others have played their role, he explained.
Movie is produced by Navita Jain and Preetam Sagar, photography Rajesh Haleangady, music by Madan-Mohan and Deevan Giridhar has given the background music. The movie is shot around Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district.
