Mangaluru, July 25: Five people suffered injuries after the break failure of a bus resulted in a serial accident involving five vehicles near Bikarnakatte here on the morning of Saturday July 25th.
The accident occurred after the bus driver lost control over the bus due to break failure. The private bus Sri Vasuki plying from BC Road to State Bank collided into an Alto car, an auto rickshaw, an Activa and a bike.
All the injured have been rushed to hospital. Among the five injured, the bike rider is said to be in serious state.
All the five vehicles were damaged, the auto rickshaw more than the others.
Soon after the accident, the driver and the conductor of the bus fled from the spot.
A case has been registered by Kadri traffic police.
