Kasargod, July 22: A horrifying incident has been reported in which a man killed his three-year-old son at his house at Panathadi Mailati in the district.
The accused father Raju, was arrested by Rajapuram police.
The victim child is Rahulraj (3).
It is learnt that, the incident occurred on Tuesday night, July 21st. The rage of father was fuelled by a family quarrel. It is said, accused Raju, was heavily drunk when he reached home on the same night, assaulted his wife, Padmini, and son, Rahulraj. In rage, he then dragged the child outside his home and killed him.
The neighbours, who heard the cries of the mother rushed to the spot. Immediately they rushed Rahul, to a hospital, but he was declared brought dead.
Rajapuram police have filed a case and investigations are on.
