Mangaluru, July 15: Thieves have stolen gold jewellery and silver articles from Durgaparameshwari temple at Belman.
When the temple priest went to the temple to offer pooja to the deity at 6 pm in the evening, the incident came to light.
Gold jewellery and silver item together worth Rs 3 lakhs were stolen from the temple.
The priest immediately conveyed the information to the temple authority as well as the police.
Karkala police arrived at the spot and investigated. Dog squad and finger print experts were also brought to the spot.
Karkala police have registered a case.
