Beltangady, July 11: A woman lost life and about five people were injured after collision occurred between bus and a tempo traveller near Dharmasthala on Saturday morning, July 11th.
Thayamma (36) from Bengaluru is the deceased.
The occupants of the tempo traveller were tourists from Bengaluru. The accident took place while tempo was moving from Ujire towards Dharmasthala and the KSRTC bus was plying from Dharmasthala to Bengaluru.
Thayamma and another person was severely injured in the accident and four members suffered minor injuries. All were admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru where Thayamma breathed her last while another injured, identified as Muniratnamma is said to be critical state.
A case has been registered by Beltangady police.
