Mangaluru/Kasargod, July 10: A third standard student was stabbed and killed by a mentally ill man at Periya Kalyatt in Kasargod on Thursday, July 9th.
The deceased boy is identified as Fahad (8), son of Abbas and Ayesha residents near Kalyat Mosque. The boy was a student of Kalyat Government High School.
Vijayan is the accused person.
The incident happened while the Fahad was on his way to school in the morning.
It is gathered that, while Fahad was moving along with his friends to school, Vijayan chased him from behind and stabbed him. Fahad who was severely wounded expired on spot.
Police have registered a case against the accused VIjayan.
