Operation of Badiyadka cops: Missing five of a family traced in Madikeri.

Kasargod, June 26: Five members of the same family who went missing a month ago from Badiyadka were traced at Madikeri by the Badiyadka police.

Udaya (32), his wife Prema (20), children Srijit (4), Sangeeta (2) and Prema’s sister Ramya (15), residents of Kuntalmule in Badiyadka  went missing on May 14th. Police complaint in this regard was filed at Badiyadka police station.

The police have brought the five from Madikeri are questioning them.  After recording their statements, they will be produced before the judge in Kasargod court, informed the police.

The family, over the span of one and a half months had stayed at various places in Dakshina Kannada and Madikeri.

Kasargod police had conducted a search operation in Ujire, Dharmasthala, Udupi and other places.

A special team was formed under the leadership of Kasargod DySP to search them. Finally, with the assistance from the Cyber cell, they were successful in tracing the missing family.

Since two days, one of the mobiles used by the family was switched on. Tracking this, the police took the family into custody from their relative’s house at Madenad near Madikeri town.
