Mangaluru, May 18: Serial accidents took place on the National Highway in front of Suraj international near Suratkal here on Monday afternoon, May 18th. Suratkal station inspector suffered minor injuries in the accident.
This accident took place when speeding City bus number 2 was plying from Mukka to Mangaluru city. The bus driver in a bid to avoid collision with the bike moving in front of it, suddenly turned the bus to the right. In the process, the bus collided to the motor bike. Meanwhile, the Suratkal Police Station jeep which was following the bus collided from rear end.
Suratkal station inspector Nagraj suffered minor injuries in the accident. The passengers in the bus and also the bike rider have suffered minor injuries. Traffic was disrupted for some time after the accident on the National Highway.
Suratkal Police rushed to the spot and investigated.
