Mangaluru, April 14: Cops have arrested a young drug dealer from an apartment at Kadri Kambala road on Monday April 13th and seized LSD sheet valued Rs 10 lakh from his possession.
Robin Roy Menezes (21) is the accused.
Based on reliable information, DCP (law) of reserved police Raghavendra and Kadri police inspector T D Nagaraj along with other police personnel’s raided an apartment at Kadri Kambala road and arrested him.
Police sources said that from the past one and a half years, the accused was involved in supplying LSD- one of the most powerful hallucinogen. He used to supply the drug to Goa, Bengaluru and students in Mangaluru, it is said.
Police sources said that during probe the accused revealed that one of his friend was supplying this drug to him from Austria in Europe. Highly placed sources said these drugs were also being supplied to pubs in Bengaluru.
Cops have also seized an LSD sheet (absorbent blotter paper) measuring 10×10 inches, valued at Rs 10 lakh, from him.
A case has been registered by Kadri cops and further investigations are in progress.
