House burgled at Ullal, thieves decamp with hot cash and gold ornaments.

Ullal, April 11: Burglars have sneaked into a house belonging to the son of the former minister and poet Late Iddinabba on April 10th, Friday night and have fled with cash and gold jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. This incident is reported to have occurred at Masthikatte in Ullal, outskirts of Mangaluru.

Badruddin, son of late Iddinabba had been to a function along with his family. The incident came to light only after the family returned home from the function at around 10.30pm.

The thieves broke into the house through the rear door and made away with cash Rs 40,000 and gold jewellery worth Rs 8.5 lakhs.

Ullal cops along with forensic team and dog squad have visited the spot and undertook investigations.

This is the second such incident which has occurred in Ullal over a span of two weeks.
