Mangaluru, April 3: Western Range IGP, Amrit Paul, inaugurated an open gathering ‘Bandhavya’ and launched ‘Vishwa Buntara Mahiti Kosha’, of the Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha (Reg), Bunts Hostel, Mangaluru on Thursday April 2nd.
Addressing the gathering at Bunts Hostel here, Amrit Paul said, Bunts community retaining its culture has achieved success which has made the community to come up as a successful community.
Bunts community, should serve the society. It has gone ahead to collect the information of all the Bunts across the globe, which is important, let it succeed in it, said IGP.
Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai, president, Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha (R) DK, said, the Bunts Community along with its unique heritage, culture, and traditions, lives in harmony whose exemplary nature has won everyone’s love, trust and respect, he said.
On this occasion, financial assistance was offered to specially abled persons. Prathibha Puraskar and felicitation was also offered to achievers.
Joint Secretary of Bantara Yane Nadavara Mathrau Sangha (Reg), DK Kavu Hemanath Shetty welcomed. Vice president Kenchanuru Somashekar Shetty thanked. Sukesh Chouta, Shekar Shetty compeered the event. Chief Secretary- Meghanatha Shetty, Treasurer- K Manmohan Shetty and other dignitaries were present on the dais.
After the stage program, Bhargavi Udupi team presented cultural program.
