Mangalore, June 08: Ramanatha Rai, minister for forest, ecology and environment and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge has inaugurated the new auditorium and office building of the government teacher’s training college in the city, near Hampankatta on June 8, Saturday.
Rai, in his address said that education is an integral part of the society and must for building meaningful society, which is free from exploitation and contributes to the progress of the nation.
JR Lobo, LA from Mangalore south, in his chief guest speech said that education system has witnessed a vast change at grass root level in the recent past and urged the parents to allow their children to choose the career of their interest.
Ramarao HS,director of DSERT,Bangalore,Rajendra Kalbavi,project director of district Nirmithi Kendra, Philomena Lobo, Principal of the college and AC Vinayaraj,corporator and among others were present.
