Mangaluru, April 2: Three separate accidents is reported from Haleangady on national highway 66 on Wednesday April 1st.
Two persons who suffered injuries in these accidents were admitted to hospital.
A mini truck loaded with soft drink bottles, which was speeding towards Udupi from the city, collided to a woman pedestrian at Haleangady Junction, injuring the woman seriously.
The injured woman, Sarita (32) resident of Kolnad village near Haleangady, works as maid in the house of businessman from Haleangady, Mahesh Hegde. Sarita was admitted to a hospital.
In another accident, collision took place between a bus and truck. Vehicles were damaged, in this accident and all were safe.
Third accident which is reported from near Sagu in Haleangady, a car knocked a scooter. The scooter rider was seriously injured who was rushed to hospital.
