Mangaluru, March 31: As many as eight live petrol bombs and deadly weapons were discovered at Ganjimath near telephone exchange building on Tuesday morning, March 31st.
It is reported that family members of a neighbouring house, while passing by the telephone exchange today morning noticed these petrol bombs and deadly weapons which were seen among the garbage dumped in the vicinity, immediately informed to Bajpe police station.
Police personnel rushed to the spot and have taken all the eight live petrol bombs along with the deadly weapons into their custody.
S Murugan, Commissioner of Police Mangaluru, also visited the spot and investigated.
Case is registered at Bajpe police station and investigations are on.
It is suspected that these bombs might have been placed with the intension to arouse communal unrest in the district.
