Mangaluru, March 27: A dead body has been discovered in front of the gate of a house at Bunts Hostel road on the morning of Friday. The deceased is believed to be 45-year-old which is suspected to be a murder case.
This unknown dead body was found in front of the gate of a house which is in a narrow path near the garage of Vikram Travels office which is at some distance from PVS circle.
Police expressed suspicion that whether the death was caused due to falling down in drunken state or the person was murdered. The dead body was shifted to mortuary at Wenlock hospital.
The Kadri police have registered a case and investigations are underway.
Suspicious death count rising in the city:
In recent days the number of suspicious deaths in the city is found to be rising in the city. So far in various areas of the city unknown bodies are being discovered, and identities of few among those are traced. The rest of them have remained unidentified and the number of dead bodies are increasing in the mortuary of government Wenlock hospital, as there are none to claim those bodies.
It can be noticed that in most of the cases, people who sleep on the pavements were murdered.
