Udupi, Jan 23,2013 : The six arrested in the case of the murder of Congress leader and RTI activist Vasudeva Adiga were brought to Vandaru on January 22, Tuesday for investigation purposes.
The accused, it is said showed the spot from where they kidnapped Vasudeva Adiga and attacked him. Even the place where they hid the rod with which they attacked, was identified. The rod was later seized by the police.
All the six accused are presently in police custody till January 24. Reports said the late Adiga’s sister who was present when the accused were brought to the spot, questioned with great anguish as to why her brother was killed. She even demanded the police to arrest all the accused in the case.
DYSP Yashoda Shibarur, Manjunath Kowri, Kundapur circle inspector, Shankarnarayana, PSI Dejappa and others were present.
