Mangaluru, March 24: Kavoor cops led by Kavoor SI, have arrested three persons who were planning to loot people who move on the street near Akshabhavan. The accused have been produced in the court.
The accused are namely Praveen (25), Krishna (25) both residents of Urva and Diksheth Shetty (24) resident of Anand Nagar near Akashabhavan.
The Kavoor cops based on reliable information that the trio were suspiciously moving about on a Pulsar bike in a secluded place near Parappade, Akashabhavan; acting on a tip off nabbed the accused. While conducting the operation, the accused tried to flee initially, but the bike was blocked using a jeep following which the trio were arrested.
Cops have recovered three machetes, a Pulsar bike, chilli powder and black clothes which they had planned to mask their faces from their possession.
It is learnt that the arrested are the aids of Talavaru Jagga, who is accused in many cases.
