Mangaluru, March 19: Tearful farewell bid by hundreds to K N Tailor – the legend of Tulu theatre and cinema at his residence in Ujjodi here on Thursday March 19th.
K N Tailor, renowned first Super Star of Tulu cinema, expired due to illness at a hospital in the city on Wednesday morning March 18th. The body was kept for public view at his residence.
Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, Dr Vivek Rai – well-known litterateur and researcher, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, dramatist Kishore D Shetty, Devadas Kapikad, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Vijaykumar Kodialbail, Umanath Kotian, Chandrahas Rai, Seetharam Kulal, Janaki Brahmavar, Raymond D’Souza, Fr Francis Gomes, Sai Krishna, Arvind Bolar, Richard Castelino, and many others paid their last respect to K N Tailor.
Later, the body was taken to Nandigudde crematorium where the last rites were held.
