Mangaluru, March 12: Much-awaited Tulu movie ‘Soombe’, produced under the banner Sri Yajnadhya Productions directed by Saikrishna Kudla, produced by Kishor Kottari and Shwetha K Kottari will be released simultaneously on Friday March 13th in Mangaluru and Udupi which was announced on Wednesday March 11th at a press meet at Cinepolis in City Center Mall in Mangaluru.
Director Saikrishna Kudla speaking during the press meet said, the first show of ‘Soombe’ movie will be screened on March 13th at Jyothi theatre. It is an absolute comedy and romance movie and an experiment. I believe people will accept this movie. This movie holds another film inside. Screenplay of this film is the first of its kind, such kind of screenplay cannot be seen in other Tulu movies. The movie has been made at a cost of Rs one crore, he said.
Bhojaraj Vamanjoor addressing the media said that the movie has a great combination of artistes from Mumbai, Bengaluru and Mangaluru.
Producer Kishore Kottari said that this two and half hour’s movie is full of entertainment.
Rahul, lead actor of the movie thanked the producers for their support and the director for having confidence in him. He said that, the good news is that the movie will spread to Bengaluru and Mumbai also because artistes of various film industries are involved in the movie.
‘Soombe’ movie will be released in 12 theatres. In Mangaluru it will be screened at Jyothi theatre, PVR, Cinepolis and Big Cinemas. at Radhika theatre and Planet theatre in Karkala and also in theatres at Udupi, Manipal, Moodbidri BC Road, Beltangady, and Puttur.
Producer Shwetha K Kottari, Assistant Producer Hemanth Kottari, Ashwith Kotttari, Sai Krishna-Director, Actor Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Hero-Rahul, Edberg Dilone- music director, Prasanna Shetty Bailuru were present during the press meet.
The guests were welcomed by Ashwith Kottari and vote of thanks was also proposed by him.
