Udupi, March 7: Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) chief Pravin Togadia has been banned from entering Udupi for a period of one week by the state government.
Couple of days ahead of Virat Hindu Samajotsava scheduled to be held at MGM grounds on March 9th, in which Togadia was expected to deliver the main address, this ban has been imposed.
Fearing that Togadia may deliver provocative talks which might disrupt peace, the government has imposed this ban.
