Mangaluru, March 7: On behalf of Popular Front of India, a complaint has been lodged in Pandeshwar police station here alleging that impious comments about Islam and Prophet Muhammed(PUBH) were posted by a Facebook user.
It is learnt that Safwan, city unit secretary of Popular Front of India, has stated in his complaint that a man named Nityananda Naik from Kundapur had posted some derogatory comments in Facebook which hurt the sentiments of Muslims.
It is expressed in the complaint that the above comments are likely to create tensions between Hindu and Muslim communities. Hence he has urged the cops to take immediate action against the culprit.
Cops have registered the case and investigations are on.
