Sree Mangala Devi temple yearly fest scheduled from March 10th to March 15th

Mangaluru, February 25: The astabandha bramha kalasha ceremony at historical shrine- Sree Mangala Devi temple will be held from March 4th to March 9th, overlooked by Uchilathaya K Neeleshwara Thanthri, and the yearly fair is scheduled at the sanctum from March 10th to March 15th informed P Ramanatha Hegde- the managing trustee of the temple in a media release here on Tuesday, February 23rd.

He informed that religious and cultural programmes will be organized from March 5th to March 9th. Lunch is also arranged for all the devotees in the afternoon after the Mahapooja.

During the religious programme scheduled on March 5th, retired officials of Mujrai department – Vijaya Chandra, Sanjeeva Madiwala, Mohini Shetty, Pushpalatha, and Prathiba will be felicitated. On March 9th police officer Venkatesh Prasanna,  and lokayuktha official Umesh Shet will be honoured, he announced.

On March 9th various pooja will be organized throughout the day. Pejawara Seer will grace the culmination programme held at 6 pm on this day along with other dignitaries.

The yearly fair at Shree Mangala Devi Temple will commence from March 10th and on March 15th stage programme will be organized, informed Sudhakar Rao Pejawara, the co-ordinator of the programme.

The hereditary trustee of the temple Raghurama Upadyaya, Venkatramana Aithala, Padmanabha Aithala, organizing committee of the programme Mohan Mendon and others were present during the press meet.
