Mangaluru, February 21: Newstar Kids school near Bunts Hostel celebrated its annual day on Saturday, February 21st at Rotary Bal Bhavan in Mannagudde.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the ceremony, Mayor Mahabala Maarla Said; along with the curriculum, the children must be engaged in co-curricular activities and it is the responsibility of the teachers to rise the children to great heights. Similarly, along with educating the children and making them smart, developing a healthy child is the responsibility of all, said the Mayor.

Mayor giving a call to the citizens to co-operate for maintaining cleanliness in the city said, it is not only the responsibility of MCC to maintain cleanliness, but is the duty of all by joining hands to maintain cleanliness in the city and there by develop a healthy society. In the same manner, the responsibility of giving healthy children to the society is on the shoulders of parents.
Mrs Mamatha Maarla was the chief guest on the occasion. Headmistress of the school-Leena Subhash Kumar welcomed the gathering. Teacher Sharon guided the program. Teacher Pooja Kamath thanked.
Awesome cultural programs were presented by the school children after the stage program.
