Addressing a press meet here on Monday February 16th, president of the forum Pascal Pinto said, we request the authorities to implement old timings. Earlier the departure from Kuwait was at 12 am IST and arrival was 7.15 am IST which was very convenient for all of us and it saved time. But now the departure from Kuwait is at 12 pm IST and arrival at 7.15 pm IST which is inconvenient to many, especially the delay in flight due to which the passengers who have to travel to far off places suffer during the night.

The passengers have to travel for 4.30 hours from Kuwait to Mangaluru, hence the seating needs to be improved. We are facing problem of buying tickets with credit cards and online booking which is not available. When questioned about these issues, they always reply that there is a possibility that the credit cards may be ‘hacked’, he said.

The ticket fares keeps on changing with time. The Air India has to take a not on this factor. We are thankful to Air India which is functioning efficiently although there is acute shortage of staffs. We also expect better facilities, since we pay money, we need good service, he said.

Former chairman of Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA)- Tejomaya, KORWA president- Louis Lobo, Janardhan -Yedapadavu ZP member were present in the press meet.
