Mangalore : Ramakrishna Mission carried out Swacch Mangaluru for Swacch Bharath – cleanliness drive on 3rd consecutive Sunday on the 15th February at Hampankatta and near Central Railway Station. About 150 volunteers – devotees and well wishers of our Ashrama & other eminent persons took part in the cleanliness drive carried on for 4 hours in the morning. This included cleaning the compound walls – cleaning the roads – painting the walls – relaying the interlock tiles thus repairing the damaged road.
Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Ex MLC flagged off the drive.
This is a part of the 40 weeks Cleanliness Drive being organized by the Ramakrishna Mission and initiated on the 1st February.
