Modified image of Modi goes viral in social media – Complaint filed against the offender.

Mangaluru, February 13: A case stands registered in Ullal police station against Jeevan Raj Kuthar- SFI state secretary on the charges of allegedly uploading a modified of image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on WhatsApp, insulting him.

The morphed photo shows AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the costume of a hunter, and Narendra Modi as a hunted animal. After AAP won the Delhi Assembly election, this photo went viral on social networking sites.

Dayanand Thokkottu- BJP secretary; has filed a complaint in Ullal police station, which states that the edited image shows PM Modi in a unexpected manner and that it has hurt the sentiments of 125 crore Indians.

It is alleged that the picture was uploaded from Jeevan’s phone to WhatsApp.

In the complaint, Dayanand has urged for stringent action against Jeevan.

The case has been registered by Ullal cops under Section 66 (A) of Information Technology Act.
