Mangaluru, February 10: A National-level Post-Graduation fest, “Srishti-2015”was organized in the college auditorium by the department of PG studies of Commerce in Shree Gokarnanateshwara College here on Monday, February 9th.
The function was inaugurated by the Deputy General Manager of MRPL, Laxmi M Kumaran. Addressing the audience on this occasion she said, the students have to imbibe the preaching’s of Shree Narayana Guru in their life which says all the caste, clan and religions are one. She also gave a call to the students to modulate their bright future by themselves.
Students have to utilize the best opportunities to the maximum and excel in life. Only teachers are blessed with the chance of shaping the future of their huge mass of students. Likewise, students have got the chance of modulating their future through the teachers. Making the best use of this opportunity, by taking the guidance of their teachers; the students have to rise up and achieve in life which brings name and fame to the country, said Laxmi Kumaran.
S Jayavikram, Correspondent of the college, chief guest on the occasion said, this institution was founded by a great thinker who neither had expectations nor education. Due to his great efforts today the students of this institution are able to get good education. Utilizing all the available opportunities to the level best, and also by putting relentless efforts the students have to make their future bright. Along with this the students have to render the best service to the society, he said.
