Mangalore.Feb.07: Mayor Cup 2015- Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District powerlifting and Karnataka State Benchpress championship’s 2015 is inaugurated today by Sri J.R Lobo, MLA- Mangalore South Constituency at NGO Auditorium, Hampankatta.
Sri George Pinto, The Deputy Commissioner of Excise and President D.K dist Govt Employees Association presided over the Function. Smt Kavitha Vasu, Deputy Mayor of Mangalore city Corporation was the chief Guest. Sri Jagadish Shetty, President, Sri Madhuchandra, Secretary of D.K Powerlifting Association and Sri V Krishnamoorthy Rao and Sri Purandaradas Kulur, Vice Presidents of Karnataka Powerlifting Association were present in the Dias. Sri Sathish Kumar Kudroli, Ekalavya Awardee, Vice-President, Indian Powerlifting Association conveyed the Welcome Speech. Sri Jayaram M, Treasurer, Karnataka Powerlifting Association was the Master of Ceremony.
