Beltangady, February 7: In relation to the recent clashes which broke out at Karaya in the taluk; ABVP leader Nidhish Shetty, who was arrested, has been released on bail.
ABVP had held a massive protest recently, urging to release Nidhish.
In relation to the communal clashes at Karaya, Nidhish Shetty, a student, along with many others was arrested. The cops during the investigations had reportedly found the identity cards of students and CCTV images. Sources said, Nidhish was arrested after he was caught on CCTV camera pelting stone at the Karaya mosque.
Nidhish was released on Thursday February 5th night. All the others who were arrested in relation to the Karaya clashes have been released on bail, it is learnt.
