Mangalore/Udipi, May 28: It has been reported that a young doctor, an alumnus of KMC Manipal and was undergoing house surgeon training at his alma mater, who was seriously injured in a road accident at Kundapur on May 21 Tuesday and was undergoing treatment for head injuries.
He breathed his last on May 26, Sunday.
It was said that a young Dr Chetan D Rai,aged 23 son of M Dinkar Rai,retired Vijaya bank, resident of Kedinje.Sources said Dr Rai was hit by a car when he was standing on the side of the Highway to return to Udipi after visiting his family’s ancestral house at Ankadakatte.
