Mangaluru, January 08: A meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim at DC office hall on January 7th, Wednesday to discuss on the revival of private bus fares.
In the meeting it was decided that the fares that existed prior to the last revision i.e, since August 20th,2013 will be effective.
During the meeting, discussions were raised by the general public’s regarding the negligent behaviour of some of the city bus crew, and their unfair service, and a heated argument took place between the public’s and the bus owners. The District Superintendent of Police Dr Sharanappa ordered to hold a two month training program for bus crew on soft skills.
Afzal Ahmed Khan, Regional Transport Officer, office bearers of Bus Operators’ Association and public’s participated in the meeting.
