Mangaluru, January 5: The fourth of its kind, the Swavalambi Santhe, was held at Swami Kripa, Kadri Kambala on Sunday, January 4th aiming to encourage people to opt organic products.
The Savayava Krishika Grahaka Balaga, organised this programme in Mangaluru. As many as 30 sellers showcased their home made products at the event.
Very soon customers picked the organic vegetables which were kept for sale was sold off very soon. One could pick mouth watering pickles, juices, jiggery, sweets and sambar powder, which were kept for sale.
On two Sundays monthly, the association has been organising organic vegetables market in front of Sahitya Kendra off PM Rao Road.
On January 11th and 25th, one can visit the next vegetable market.
