Kundapur, January 1: Ending day of the year-2014, surprised the citizens of Amasebail and the surrounding areas with yellow showers.
On Wednesday December 31st, the Amasebail and surrounding areas were cloudy since morning. The area received yellow colour rain twice during the day. The showers in the morning were yellow in colour and yellow spots were observed on all the surfaces. Powdery residue was observed after these rain drops had dried up.
The exact scientific reason behind the yellow colouration of the rain is unknown. But it can be predicted that the colourful rain had decorated the earth’s surface due to air pollution.
