Puttur, December 31: A labourer has fallen from a building and died here on Wednesday December 31st.
The deceased is Salim (41) resident of Kasargod.
Salim fell from a building named Ruby Towers which is situated close to Syndicate Bank in the heart of the town.
Salim worked as a labourer in the building and also stayed in the same building. At around 7 am; while he was arranging to fix a plank on the 4th floor of the building, the lintel beam became loose and Salim after losing balance fell down and died on spot.
The body was shifted to the government hospital in Puttur.
Puttur cops have visited the spot and a case stands registered.
