Bajpe, December 20: An accident occurred near Swamila Padavu in Bajpe on Saturday, December 20th, in which a college girl died on spot after she came under the wheels of a tipper.
The deceased is Nayana(18), is daughter of Kolambe Ramesh Safaliga and Leelavathi. She was a second PU student of a private college in Bajpe.
It is said that Nayana was riding pillion with her relative Ashwith on Honda Activa. Their vehicle was knocked by the tipper. She died instantly on the spot after being crushed under the wheels of tipper. The rider Ashwith escaped unhurt.
Bajpe cops have visited the spot and registered a case.
