Mangaluru, December 20: The prestigious ACCE (I) MLR-UltraTech Award-2014 was conferred to In-Land Infrastructure Developers Pvt Ltd for its landmark project Inland Windsors, at a ceremony held at the Loyola Hall, Mangaluru on Thursday December 18th.
The award was presented by Surya Prakash P, national president, ACCE (I).
On this occasion, Ranganath Aithal, chairman- ACCE(I) Mangaluru, Surya Prakash P, president- ACCE(I), G B S Suresh Kumar, vice-president-South ACCE (I), Dr M S Sudarshan, secretary general ACCE(I), Dr V Ramachandra, VP-UltraTech Cement Ltd, and P Nagesh Swamy, regional head (technical)- UltraTech CL were present.
This yearly- award is jointly instituted by The Association of Consulting Engineers (India) Mangalore Centre ACCE (I) and UltraTech Cement Ltd, which recognizes excellence in construction each year.
Wahaj Yusuf- Director of In-Land received the award. Architects of the project Sagar Mistry of Studio Friday Architects, structural engineers Anil Hegde, consulting engineer Suresh Pai and Shekar, project-head (Mangaluru zone) of MFar also received citations.
In-Land was adjudged winner in the category ‘Outstanding Concrete Structures-Multi Storey Building in DK, Udupi and Shivamogga districts’.
Speaking from Dubai, managing director of In-Land Group, Siraj Ahmed, said, “This is an apt recognition of the efforts and commitment we put in to make Inland Windsors the finest apartment complex in Mangaluru. Such recognitions serve to strengthen our commitment to ensure that Inland customers get only the best always.”
The UltraTech award is the latest in a long line of recognitions that In-Land Windsors has received. This November, CREDAI awarded the prestigious ‘Builder Par Excellence’ award to In-Land for this project. In-Land Windsors is already the winner of the National Suraksha Award for Safety and Excellence in Project Management, one of the few buildings in the country to receive such an award.
