Mangaluru, December 18: Two students of Sharada Vidyaniketan Public School, Talapadi, Mangaluru, have been selected to represent India in the international science fair 2014-15 scheduled to be held at United States of America.
The students Aditya Bhargav , a class ten student and Komal, a first- PUC student; studying in Sharda vidyaniketana Public School, Talapadi. They have devised an equipment to protect the environment which absorbs the toxic gases from the environment such as Carbon Monoxide and Sulphur Dioxide and had presented an essay at the National Science fair organized by “The Initiative for Research and Innovation in Science (IRIS) at Ahmedabad from December 4th to December 7th, has bagged the Gold Medal and got selected to the international level.
Father of Adithya Bhargav, Professor T G Seetharam is working at Institute of Science, Bengaluru and his mom M B Anuradha is a doctor.
Komal’s father works as a clerk at Tata motors in Mangaluru and mom is a homemaker.
Professor M B Puranik, president of the organisation, Principal Sushma Dinakar, Vice-Principal Vinayak B G, expressed their excitement over the achievement of the students.
