Mangalore, May 19: The five fishermen identified as Ravi,Uday,Madhukar,Vignesh,Vignesh and Shiva who were in the boat have been miraculously saved by the timely intervention of passerby “Image boat” when their boat capsized of Alive Bagilu on May 18.
Sources said incident took place in the early morning hours on May 18,Saturday when “Sea Rack’ fishing boat left for fishing from old port.
As per the available information the incident occurred when the rough waves hit the boat, owned by Noorsha from Ullal, water entered inside and the boat capsized.
According to the owner of the boat the estimated loss of the wooden boat would be around Rs 20 lakh.
