Mangaluru, December 9: By evening of December 8th, at least three incidents related to stabbing are reported from the city and outskirts.
In Goods Shed here, a person by name Yogish was stabbed allegedly by two persons who came in a bike with a pretext of buying cigars. After stabbing the man with sharp weapons, they fled the spot immediately. The locals have rushed Yogish to hospital.
Second case:
In a second incident, reported from Suratkal; a person identified as Vinay was walking besides the road, when miscreants who followed him in bike stabbed and fled the spot.
Vinay(25), is a resident of Puttur. The incident is said to have occurred around 10.25 pm at night on December 8th, close to Suratkal Junction. Vinay was admitted to a private hospital.
Suratkal SHO has visited the spot and strict vigil is imposed. Suratkal cops have filed a case.
Third case:
Additional stabbing incident is reported from Maripalla, where a person named Jayanth was reportedly attacked by a team which possessed sharp weapons. Seriously injured jayanth was admitted to a private hospital in the city.
Directed by the commissioner, the cops have formed teams to trace the culprits.
