Mangaluru, December 9: It is reported that a fish transporting tempo was set on fire late night by miscreants at Padavinangady, Mangaluru on Monday December 8th.
The tempo bearing registration number KA 19 B 4614, was parked at Padavinangady junction.
Kavoor and Kankanady cops have rushed to the spot. The cops tried their level best to subside the fire with water bottles, leaves etc till the fire engine arrived from Kadri.
The fire personnel managed to put off the flames, but the tempo was completely charred.
DCP K V Jagadish also arrived on the spot.
A case stands registered at Kankanady police station.
