Bala Samrakshana Kendra children stage protest over the theft of cow from the premises.

Mangaluru, December 4:  Children, staff and trustees of the Bala Samrakshana Kendra on Wednesday, December 3rd, protested over the theft of a cow from the premises of the center.

Bala Samrakshana Kendra is run by Kuthar Mangala Seva Samiti trust. The centre has been nurturing the children since the past thirty years. These children had reared the cow for milk. This cow tied at the centre was stolen three days ago.

Dr P Anantakrishna Bhat, convener of Bala Samrakshana Kendra spoke after a silent protest said that, it is condemnable to steal a cow from Children’s Ashrayadhama. The government should take extra interest to arrest the culprits, he said.

A complaint has been lodged with district administration, Minister and MP.

Sridhar Bhat, president, Mangala Seva trust, trustees Keremane Narasimha Hegde, Manohar Tulajaram and others were present.

A protest rally will be organized at Kuthar junction at 5 pm on December 4th by Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Bajrang Dal urging to close the butchery at Chembugudde in view of the cow theft.
