Mortuary at Wenlock hospital is a role model to the state: UT Khader

Mangaluru, December 2: State minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader has informed that, ‘Janasanjivini’ facility will be provided within three months to all the district hospitals in the state.

The generic drugs will be provided to patients at a price set by the government. This unit will be completely air conditioned and in future this facility will be provided to the taluk hospitals too said the minister. He also said that in Wenlock Hospital various units such as waste water treatment plant, mortuary, sub divisions of dental clinic, semi ICU unit, X ray unit, DRTB center and Club Foot Care center will be inaugurated on December 5th.

He revealed that, Mortuary at Wenlock hospital mortuary is full-fledged and is a role model to the entire state.

He addressed the preparatory meeting of 20th Uroos celebration at Ullal Dargha, prior to the press meet.

The minster urged district administration to make arrangements for the smooth functioning of the program and also urged that roads which connect Ullal Dargha should be repaired before the commencement program.

Minister Khader urged Health Department to install a temporary health clinic adjacent to the Ullal Dargha so that first aid treatment is provided in case of emergency and also temporary sanitation facilities.

AB Ibrahim Deputy Commissioner suggested that the display sign boards should be written in three languages such as Kannada, Urdu and Malayalam.

The Ullal Uroos will be organised from April 2nd to 26th– 2015.
