Supreme Court dismisses High Court order passed to dismiss SP, CPI and ASI.

Mangaluru, December 2:  The Supreme Court has dismissed the high court order passed in relation to a case ordering to dismiss DK District Superintendent of Police Dr Sharanappa S D, Belthangady SHO Babu Gowda and CPI Lingappa Poojary from service.

Informing this in a press release, Dr Sharanappa S D, said the Supreme Court has dismissed the High Court’s order and the order copy of the SC order has reached him.

The Supreme Court has appreciated the actions taken by SP in the said case. Moreover the High Court had issued order according to the CRPC 482 is absent. The SP explained that the SC has mentioned in the order that, issuing such orders without proper investigation are forbidden in the law.

A case was filed by Shashikala J Shetty at the High Court related to the temple construction of Ujre Thimmarodi Kunjaparwa Shrine against District SP and Belthangadi circle inspector. Related to this case, on July 30th, judgement was passed by the High Court ordering to dismiss SP and CPI. SP Dr Sharanappa and the Belthangady CPI had appealed to the Supreme Court on September 26th along with the Government’s co-operation. The Supreme Court has passed this judgement after inquiry of the case.
