Mangaluru, November 16: Speaking over the abrupt increase in sexual assault cases, Pramod Muthalik Sri Rama Sena chief has demanded the relatives of the rape victims to detach the hands of rapists.
Pramod Muthalik was addressing the press meet at Aryasamaj Bhavan premises Mangaluru on Sunday November 16th.
He said “Rape incidents are taking place abruptly throughout the country since the offenders have no fear of law. It is insult to humanity. Hence without hesitation, hands of rapists should be chopped off by relatives or parents”.
Speaking about the attack on inter-religious married couples who visited Koragajja temple at Urwa on Friday November 14th for prayers, Muthalik said “Though the couple were attacked by a few miscreants, none were arrested in this case. Although the girl filed complaint, the miscreants were not arrested? Why this kind of attitude?”.
Regarding the Nanditha case, he said “I doubt strongly that there is an attempt to tamper the evidences. The district in-charge minster of Shivamoga and state government are trying to protect the culprit. Government has not permitted the cops to probe this case freely”.
Muthalik informed that Durga Sena will organize training program on self defense for girls in Dakshina Kannada.
He condemned the ‘Kiss of Love’ incidents across the country, and said that if such campaign begins in Karnataka, activists of Sri Ram Sena will take law into hand in order to stop it.
Kumar Malemar, Ganesh Athavara, Jeevan Neermarga, Pradeep Mudushedde and others were present during the press meet.
