Mangalore/Udipi, May 14: A well known and very famous sandalwood cine hero Shivraj Kumar, who is famous by “Hatric hero” visited twin cities of Dakshina Kannada and Udipi on May 13, Monday along with his wife and family members.
In the early part of their journey both husband and wife visited Krishna Temple (Mutt) at Udipi for darshana of Lord Krishna and offered prayers and sought divine blessings. They also met Sree Pejavar seer (Swamiji) and sought the blessing from Swamiji for the success of upcoming films particularly “Kaddipudi” and hope to get a much needed break.
Thereafter they visited city’s Gokarnatheshwara temple and offered their special poojas.He said their visit to the twin cities is part of their private visit, who came to attend one of the private programmes in the city.
Apart from some of their family members ‘Edakallu”fame Chandrashekar, actor Gurudutt were with them.
On behalf of the temple H S Sairam, President of temple management committee felicitated and honored Shivraj couple, Chandrashekar and Gurudutt.
Raghavendra Kulur,Vice president,Padmaraj R,treasurer (Lawyer) trustee members like Dr,BG Suvarna,Harikrishna Bantwal,Maheshchandra and cine actor Suresh Mangalore among others were present.

Thereafter while speaking to Gulfkannadiga representative said in his speech that he likes the life style of people from Mangalore/Udipi for their tolerance, respect towards people from other region. It is quite evident from this that in spite of unbearable heat people loves to live harmoniously here and respects each other.
Besides he appreciated the “Fish Curry” of the region and shared his experience of different varieties of fishes.
Now the new government (Cong) has been installed in the state and hope it will deliver clean, transparent and pro-people government and state must flourish and prosper under the new government, he opined
He further said we have been very busy in shooting of our three new films i.e.Kaddipudi,Bajarangi and Aryan and it is in the finishing stage and for the special role in ‘Bajarangi’ his body is being tuned to ‘Six Pack’, he said.
Shivraj Kumar very simple, courteous and humble gentleman. He has shown his greatness by mingling freely with all the people and co-operated for photography one by one without any reservation.
